![]() ![]() ![]() The plantpot in question is up against my neighbours fence and can be seen from the street. I went out to check but obviously after 2 weeks the package was gone. ![]() I sent them the footage and they came back to me a few days later with a picture of my package stuffed behind one of the plantpots at the end of my garden. I went back on my ring camera to the date the said and saw that the delivery driver did visit - he knocked on my door, walked of to the side of my house out of camera shot and then left the garden without leaving a note. Tracking number never worked and after about 6 weeks I got in touch with litjoy to check on the status of my order. Ordered a reading journal with the points I had saved up at the time and paid $12 delivery. ![]()

Cloonan’s art is outstanding, able to evoke worlds instantly and in depth, with structure that supports and underpins the needs of each story, gorgeously stark black and white that isn’t afraid of detail. Wood writes to explain the characters’ outwardly confusing decisions, as they often disappoint themselves but come to terms with living on. ![]() These six stories aren’t about powerful people but very troubled ones, including a cannibal a compulsive but charming young woman who lives via instructions on Post-its a boy who can breathe underwater and a time traveler who tries to reassure her younger self. Instead, their abilities are metaphors, dead weight anchors and the basis for life-changing transitions. Cloonan and Wood return to their anthology series, telling more tales of young mutants who are clearly not superheroes. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This book will investigate government, media, Hollywood, public schools, our culture of death, and the push toward socialism and Marxism. ![]() With 78% of Americans claiming to be Christians, how did it get to the point where Christianity is having less of an influence on our culture than culture is having on Christianity? Too many believers have conformed to our culture and we’re now suffering the consequences as a nation.Įnemy forces continue to destroy this nation by attacking America's Judeo-Christian roots from within. Elizabeth Philpot, a London spinster brought to Lyme by reduced circumstances, shares Mary’s strange passion for hunting fossils and mentors her through years of triumph, tragedy, heartbreak, and scandal. Surviving a lightning strike is only one of Mary Anning’s noteworthy attributes: from girlhood on she achieves international renown as a fossil hunter in the shore village of Lyme Regis, discovering and restoring the first skeletons of ichthyosaurs and plesiosaurs (among other things). ![]() The author of Girl with a Pearl Earring returns with the story of an unlikely friendship between two unlikely 19th-century Englishwomen. ![]() ![]() In the process, Demme gives Lecter one of cinema’s all-time great introductions. ![]() When Jack Crawford (Scott Glenn), the head of the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, sends Starling to meet Lecter in his cell at the Baltimore Hospital for the Criminally Insane, Demme moves us from her ascetic domain to his rococo one, from meticulous authenticity to nightmarish fantasy, from detective thriller to horror movie. How many other Hollywood heroines – or heroes – are anything like her? She is a clever, dedicated professional who succeeds by doing everything by the book and with the encouragement of her superiors. ![]() But Silence of the Lambs has a deep respect for the FBI’s methods, and so does Starling. Most films about law-enforcement agencies have maverick protagonists: agents who either break the rules (James Bond) or turn against their nefarious handlers (Jason Bourne). ![]() Demme goes on to stage several long scenes which were shot at the actual FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, so that we can see Starling’s colleagues doing their paperwork, practising their shooting, drinking their coffee. A trainee FBI agent, she pounds through the Bureau’s woodland assault course at the start of the film. One striking aspect of The Silence of the Lambs is the care taken by its director, Jonathan Demme, and its screenwriter, Ted Tally, to establish Starling and her well-ordered world. ![]() ![]()
